How Can One Manage To Stay Productive?

In a world of over 7.753 billion people with differences in personality, we still all do share a commonality–busy lives.

Many are things that constantly seek our time, attention and energy, yet life demands maximum productivity from us. This means we are either part of or all of (for those who love multitasking) and we all know that focus is a principal key to any great man around the world today.

What then can the average child, youth, men and woman of these contemporary times do in order to be relevant and not get lost in the crowd?

These few tips will help guide us in such a time.

Identifying Your Priorities And Goals

This involves a conscious understanding of what holds true and aligns with your core value and 2ndly is relevant at the time being. This is so important if one will stay focused. Without clear, quantifiable objectives, it’s simple to lose focus and squander time. You’ll be able to concentrate your energy and attention on what is most crucial by defining clear goals.

Jim Rohn once said, “Goals are like magnets. They’ll attract the things that make them come true.”

Minimize Interruptions.

At this point, one might need to take an inventory of what takes the bulk of your time, then brutally decide which should go. Have limits for your social engagements. Avoid being trapped by the urge to respond to all social media, especially email.

My, advice? Set out time for each and stick to that routine.

The famous quote from Jim Rohn goes, “Either you run the day, or the day runs you.”

You’ll be in charge of your day and able to concentrate on what’s most crucial if you get rid of distractions.

Make Preparations before the time

This is the part where you become intentional about how your day should go and how it’s going. A good piece of advice is to use the 80/20 principle-choosing the top 3 tasks of the day and give them 80% of your time, while the rest take just 20%. So, planning helps you pick up those top 3 and the bottom task

According to Myles Munroe, “Time is the most valuable resource in the world. It is worth more than a diamond. It waits for no one.”

Better preparation, greater productivity

Learn To Say “NO” Without Feeling Guilty

“Don’t get so busy making a living that you forget to make life”—Dally Parton

A wise man once said that you can’t dish out what you don’t have. At times, lovely proposals may come up because of a former work well done. This is another time to check your priorities. If fitting and you’re capable, accept otherwise, politely decline. However, we must be careful it doesn’t transit to complacency.

Health Is Necessary

Over-busyness will wear you out. Many experience burnout because their mind is on so many things. Work will still go on if you lose your health.

This doesn’t mean becoming lazy in duty, No. But rest when need be; eat and exercise. Guard jealously your mental health through the practice of meditation, physical health by exercise, and emotional health by appreciating and celebrating your daily victories.

Take Breaks

Regular breaks are necessary for productivity. According to studies, regular pauses can improve your creativity, help you stay focused, and lower your stress levels. Every hour, Brian Tracy advises taking a 10- to 15-minute break to refuel and clear your head. You’ll be able to work more productively and prevent burnout by taking regular breaks.

Exercise self-control

Self-control is another secret to productivity. You must learn the self-discipline to maintain your priorities and goals even when it is difficult if you want to be effective.
